Engineering Classes for Kids & Teens
Hands-on STEM engineering in Scottsdale
Design, test, and improve real projects, from early energy labs to 3D engineering and printing, PC building, and teen electrical engineering.
Learn engineering by designing, building, and testing
Engineering enrichment here is about understanding how things work and learning to solve problems with a design cycle: ask a question, build a prototype, test it, and improve it. Students explore physical science, electronics, hardware, and engineering design, not only screen-based coding and not only open-ended craft projects.
Along the way, students practice skills engineers use every day: framing a problem and iterating on prototypes; energy concepts through hands-on labs; circuits and electrical problem-solving; and working systems such as PCs and 3D-engineered builds.
These classes suit curious builders and problem-solvers across ages 4–17, whether they are trying STEM for the first time or ready for teen pathways such as electrical engineering, 3D engineering, or building their own PC. Programs run at our Scottsdale facility with year-round instructors and are Arizona ESA approved.
Engineering is adjacent to, but not the same as, makerspace courses (tool-based fabrication and textiles), robotics (building and programming robots), and coding. Many families start in one area and add another as interests grow.
