About This Course
This course helps students deepen their understanding of life, earth, and physical sciences through guided investigation. Students will learn to design simple experiments, record results, and draw conclusions. Topics include ecosystems, weather patterns, energy, and forces. Emphasis is placed on using evidence to explain scientific ideas. The course strengthens problem-solving skills and prepares students for more advanced science learning.
You'll learn to:
- Plan and carry out simple scientific investigations.
- Collect, organize, and interpret basic data.
- Explain concepts such as ecosystems, weather, and forces.
- Use evidence to support conclusions.
- Apply scientific thinking to real-world situations.
Choose a Lesson Package
Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
