About This Course
This hands-on experience encourages young inventors to think outside the box as they design and build their own whimsical chain reactions. Through fun, engaging activities, participants will learn about engineering principles, teamwork, and critical thinking—all while having a blast creating complex machines that accomplish simple tasks in the most imaginative ways possible.
You'll learn to:
- Learn how to brainstorm and design intricate machines that solve simple tasks in imaginative ways.
- Discover fundamental concepts like motion, force, and cause-and-effect while building Rube Goldberg machines.
- Develop communication and cooperation skills by working together to design and construct group projects.
- Practice planning and troubleshooting through trial and error as students refine their designs for optimal performance.
- Gain confidence in using various materials and tools to bring unique inventions to life
Choose a Lesson Package
Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
