Creative Maker Lab

About This Course

Embark on a hands-on journey into the exciting world of creation and production. This program empowers young minds to explore a variety of  makerspace tools and design techniques. Participants will learn how to safely operate equipment such as 3D printers, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, and embroidery machines. This custom written course explores unique techniques and forward-thinking concepts, such as 3D printed clothing or technology-embedded vinyl and more. From concept to creation instructors will guide students every step of the way, to instill confidence in transforming exciting ideas into real life products.

You'll learn to:

  • Safely operate and utilize a variety of makerspace equipment, including 3D printers, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, and embroidery machines
  • Translate concepts into tangible designs by employing production techniques and creative design principles
  • Create physical prototypes from digital designs, while growing practical problem solving skills and familiarity with fabrication

Choose a Lesson Package

Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
