About This Course
Mobile App Development is an exciting and practical course designed for tech-savvy young learners. Led by experienced instructors, this course introduces students to the fascinating world of mobile app development. Students will code using a graphical user interface as the focus is to make apps for Android devices. Steps for making mobile apps for Apple and how to make cross platform apps will also be covered. Build mobile applications from the ground up to solidify programming essentials such as computational thinking and basic programming skills. Students will grow their confidence and skills, as they continue their journey as budding app developers in the rapidly growing digital world.
You'll learn to:
- Explore the app development process, from brainstorming ideas to coding and testing creations
- Understand the basics of mobile app design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX)
- Code using a graphic user interface (GUI) to make apps for Android devices. Steps for making mobile apps for Apple and how to make cross platform apps will be covered
- Solidify programming essentials such as computational thinking and programming skills
Choose a Lesson Package
Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
