About This Course
This course combines the popular game Minecraft with the fascinating world of architectural design and art history. Led by knowledgeable instructors, students will explore architectural principles and art movements throughout history, gaining insights into iconic structures and influential artists. Through hands-on Minecraft building projects, participants will learn how to design and construct their own 3D architectural marvels, drawing inspiration from various architectural styles and art movements. They will delve into the creative process, learning about scale, proportion, and spatial awareness while expressing their artistic vision in a virtual environment. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of architectural design and art history, along with a portfolio of their own Minecraft creations to showcase their newfound skills.
You'll learn to:
- Understand fundamentals of architectural design principles, including scale, proportion, and spatial relationships.
- Explore the history of architecture and study iconic architectural styles and landmarks from different time periods and cultures.

Choose a Lesson Package
Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
