About This Course

The world and the science behind how things work can often feel mystical and magical. In this course, students will embark on a magical journey that explores a wide range of topics related to chemistry and physics.  As students of The Waybright School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, throughout this hands-on course, young Wizards will enjoy working on their “owls”, or ordinary wizarding levels to advance their knowledge and understanding of this fascinating subject.

You'll learn to:

  • Explore how real-world concepts like chemistry and physics relate to magical ideas
  • Understand various chemical principles such as the properties of different materials and the chemical reactions that occur
  • Conduct trials and explore different physics principles, such as various types of forces, including magnetism and gravity
  • Pay close attention to detail while still being engaged and present. These skills can be valuable not just in chemistry but also in other areas of life, such as cooking or science experiments
