About This Course
In this dynamic course, students will learn the fundamentals of coding while engaging in exciting tank battles. Through block-based programming languages like Scratch or Blockly, participants will code their own tanks, develop strategic algorithms, and compete against their peers in virtual battles. They will explore key coding concepts such as loops, conditionals, and event-driven programming, fostering their problem-solving abilities and computational thinking skills. The course will also emphasize teamwork and collaboration as students have the opportunity to join forces with teammates in multiplayer tank battles. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of coding concepts, enhanced critical thinking skills, and the satisfaction of building their own virtual tank army. You'll learn to:
- Introduction to coding concepts and principles, including variables, functions, and conditionals.

Choose a Lesson Package
Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
