About This Course

In this course, students will be introduced to the process of creating 2D animations. Through a series of fun and interactive activities, students will explore the power of visual storytelling and bring their imaginative ideas to life. They will learn how to use industry-standard software and tools to create vibrant characters and dynamic animations, while also developing essential skills such as patience and attention to detail. Students will showcase their newfound skills and unleash their boundless creativity upon the screen by producing short animations.

You'll learn to:

  • Learn the fundamentals of 2D animation, including keyframes, timing, and spacing.
  • Explore animation techniques, such as squash and stretch, anticipation, and exaggeration.
  • Develop storytelling skills by creating characters and bringing them to life.
  • Gain hands-on experience using industry standard animation software and tools.

Choose a Lesson Package

Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
