About This Course
Roblox is a platform where any age student can bring their imagination to life by building rich, immersive 3D experiences. This is probably why Roblox is ranked as one of the top online entertainment platforms for audiences under the age of 18. Using Roblox Studio, students become developers as they create 3D models and structures, modify terrain, animate characters, and define the behaviors and mechanics of the world. They achieve this using the language Lua, a language used by millions of developers around the world today. Roblox and Minecraft modding teach different programming languages, so don’t worry, your children can take both courses and have twice the fun!
You'll learn to:
- Understand and code in Lua, the coding language used to create Roblox Games
- Sculpt simple and complex 3D objects by manipulating object properties
- Think in a logical manner and practice fundamental Software Engineering concepts to design, build, and test games from beginning to end
Choose a Lesson Package
Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
