About This Course

This exciting and hands-on course is designed to ignite creativity and storytelling abilities, as we introduce students to the magical world of stop motion animation and movie making. Through guided projects and interactive lessons, students will develop their storytelling skills, enhance their visual communication, and build their confidence in expressing their ideas. They will experiment with different themes, characters, and narratives, while creating stop motion movies.

You'll learn to:

  • Learn the fundamentals of stop motion techniques, including character creation, set design, and frame-by-frame animation.
  • Develop storytelling abilities by creating narratives and plots for stop motion projects.
  • Understand the process of making a short movie, from planning and storyboarding to editing and final production.
  • Use production equipment and frame capture software

Choose a Lesson Package

Fourteen hours of one on one private instruction or one complete course. Weekday or weekend appointments with a live instructor onsite at our facility. Once lessons begin, students meet routinely each week on set days and times for one or more hours per week consecutively until the course hours have been completed. Appointments are subject to availability.
